Naomi Diamant
NAONOW
My first encounter with jewelry making took place in Mexico when I was sixteen. There, I learned to use wire from a group of young artisans. My curiosity towards the art and craft of jewelry making quickly developed into a fervent passion and in India I trained in more advanced techniques and started to develop the tools to give shape to my creative intuitions.
When I start a jewel I never know what I will do and how it will look at the end of its production journey: my creative process guides the shape of each piece rendering each creation one-of-a-kind (unrepeatable?).
truly one of a kind
Jewelry
Within each piece’s uniqueness lie three distinctive signs: a small diamond set within it, a secret guarded only by the wearer; the logo of Nao Now in the shape of a diamond, and an identification number.
Thought and gesture meet at the crossroads of the word diamond: Aδαμας – adamas – the invincible which conveys courage and order, freeing itself of the superfluous, giving clarity and seeking the purest beauty in simplicity.
Like each of my jewels.
